What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be difficult. We want to eliminate any hesitation that you might have.  Our desire is for your first visit to Faith Baptist Church to be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for the entire family.  We want you to feel at home and among friends.  Hopefully we will answer some of your questions.

What are our services like?

Our worship services have beautiful music, both from the congregation and choir, followed by a clear, biblical, relevant message from the Bible. The length of the service is little over an hour. We have a Bible study time that is before our Sunday morning service. There are classes for the different age groups and the adult group is divided into a men’s and a ladies’ class.

What about my children?

Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. For the infants, parents will receive a pager so that the nursery attendants can easily contact them if there is a need. For children four years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

What about my teens?

We see teens as the future of our church and our society. They are very important to us. Our assistant pastor’s main responsibility is the youth ministry. The teens have their own Bible study time that is geared for them and the issues that they face. They have regular activities for structured times of fellowship.

What should I wear?

We do not have a “dress code” here at Faith Baptist for members or guests. Most of the people serving in ministry positions dress in what might be called traditional “Sunday dress.” Our desire is for you to come and to be comfortable during your visit.

What about the offering?

We don’t expect you to give in the offering, nor will any pressure be put on you to give. We desire that the service be a gift to you. We trust that you will find Faith a friendly place, where the Bible is taught, and a place where you can grow in grace.
